Class Instruction

To keep costs to a minimum, the majority of our classes are taught by qualified parents. We hire instructors to teach any class that no parent is available to teach. The costs of hiring an instructor are passed on to the family. All instructors are required to fill out an application and must be approved by the Director before the instructor can be placed to teach a class. Priority is given to returning teachers and teachers with Bachelor’s Degrees.

In the past we have hired teachers to teach Biology, Chemistry, English, Algebra I and II, Geometry, Jr. High English, and some high school English classes.. These teachers have Bachelor’s degrees or higher in their field of study and most have classroom experience.

  • Classes are available for pre-school through 12th grade in core academics
  • ( English, Math, Science, and Social Studies) on Monday and Wednesday.
  • Classes in the arts including private music lessons, drama, painting, dance, and other electives are held on Friday.
  • Qualified parents teach most classes.  Some classes are taught by paid instructors who are  not  parents if a qualified parent is not available to teach.
  • Spanish classes are available for all ages.
  • Rosetta Stone online courses for all subjects is available at a reduced rate.
  • Tennis instruction is offered on Fridays for ages 12 and up.
